Celebrity and influencer brands are back with a double dose of Ariana Grande, seeing r.e.m Beauty expanding into body care and offering eyebrow products. TikTok twins Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight have announced their new skincare start-up with Walmart, itk, focusing on a Gen Z audience. In collaborations, Bobbi Brown has extended into the haircare realm, Disney has collaborated with Urban Decay, and Fenty Beauty is selling ketchup in partnership with art collective Mschf. Sun care is still prevalent in new product launches, with Vacation releasing a whipped cream–inspired sunscreen and Winnie Harlow's brand Cay Skin preparing for autumn with products to help soothe skin after sun damage. Here's what else has happened across the beauty industry in the past few days:RETAILFlo: The eco-friendly, organic, and plastic-free period care brand is now available to buy in Superdrug stores. Superdrug joins Boots, Holland & Barrett, and WHSmiths as Flo’s high-street retailers.Carbon Theory: The brand’s Salicylic Acid Cleansing Range is now available in-store and online at Ulta Beauty, including two new products, Salicylic Acid & Shea Butter Exfoliating Cleansing Bar ($10.99) and Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Gel Cleanser ($14.99). Both unclog blocked pores by breaking down and removing oil beneath the skin's surface using beta hydroxy acid to prevent breakouts for all skin types. The Cleansing Bar contains a 1.8% concentration of the active in a moisturizing formulation, while the Gel Cleanser has 0.5% concentration, alongside citric acid to brighten the skin.
